Little snail?

the little snail outside my house...

Where is the snail heading to? With the endless ground in front of it, i really ponder if it really knows where and when to stop. I wonder what's the motivation for it to continue to glide forward. Does it know/understand what kind of role its holding on the earth? Well, i do understand that even a small animal has an important role to play in the food-chain/ land-plant cycle in the animal kingdom and ecology system. It's just that i don't understand if the little snail knows what it's all about. Why is there a creature that is still moving slowly disregarding the world that is spinning and moving forward fast? It's ambition is much bigger in comparison to its size. Can we learn a lesson from it? Should we always follow pack and follow orders blindly just because it's expected to be done. I think we should always have a minute of two to look back at our priorities. My biggest question of the day is actually a question to myself. "What's my priority(s)?"

This is a tough one but right now, it's my board exam this coming saturday!!!!

A feast

I have not been updating for a little while. I have been in a busy service for the past one month and hence, got myself a short but much-needed (probably a well-deserved) one week break. Few days ago, i had a mini feast. Looking at the pictures, it's not a whole lot of food served on the table but the menu includes;

Appetizer : Mashed potato tart, Chicken pea soup (they were absolutely delicious) and
Roasted chicken salad with light yogurt dressing

Main course
: Pan-fried artic char (a type of fish that is closely related to salmon and trout) with creamy dill with capers sauce, Grilled prawns with cheese and herbs and Pan-fried sliced potatoes with bacon and German
Oktoberfest sausage.

Dessert: No dessert as we were dead full after eating only half of whatever mentioned above!

It's a lovely meal with people that i absolutely love and will miss dearly when it's time to part. Hate to think about that but somehow that feelings arise when i was editing the pictures.

So ry, here's the pictures.

here's the food!

my little hut

I am feeling comfortable living at my place now. I guess coming from a big city, i really don't mind living in a small condo. The fact that i don't need to worry about snow-clearing during snow storm season is already a big relief!

Here are some quick shots of my small place, rather empty without much deco now. Will work on that as time goes by. Oh, one more interesting piece of news is that my sister might join me at this city to further her studies...well nothing confirmed but if she does, it won't happen until a year and a half later. I am still excited over this opportunity to look live with her!
