V's wedding

I just got home from my colleague's wedding. Although this is only my second time attending a wedding, i really think that this is a good one. The wedding program is perfect - short, simple, sweet and meaningful. The speeches given during the wedding reception was really good. V's father's speech was especially touching. He said something like, every parents love their child(s) dearly, and nobody else will be able to match this love. If the groom can love V at least 10% of their love, he's contented. awww....

The wedding is so sweet and touching that i do think i am missing something in my life. Ouch!!!

My birth-day!

Thank you for all who sent me their wishes. I had a busy week and ended up post-call (after 36 hours shift) on my birthday. Was exhausted but it's was almost forgotten after a lovely homely dinner. Thank you for preparing the food, that's all i need for my bday! (^ ^). I really like the rainbow trout ala asam style! Had some lovely gifts as well - oh! i still don't know how you know that i had wanted to get an indoor comfy slipper (did i tell you that?) !!?? Well, i am officially slightly off one quater of a decade. Starting to feel old!

Slaughtered and glued back!

hehe...couple weeks ago, by accident, a big moisturiser container fell onto my porcelain "precious moment" figurine and a porcelain ballet shoe photo clip. Both the items were halved!!! Thank goodness they werent broken into pieces. My friend initially brought me a super glue that somehow dissapeared the day she came to my house. This morning while making my fav marmit oatmeal, I found the glue lying around my kitchen bar!!! Now, my poor belongings are patched!

(-_-)***patched "things" is as good as the original if not better!

Daemon

Oh....somebody got me into this. I kept on playing with it at your blog!! hehe! I hope that i didn't turn you into another creature! Now i got myself a link. I think the results of it do sound like me! However, i didnt' expect to see a lion. I know i can't be a white bunny! However, the lion is not cute!!! =(

(-_-)***grrrrr

It feels good

I guess that's what i have been wanting to know - whether i'll like being a surgeon or not. Whether i'll be able to make the top of the crop is a different story. Believe me when i tell you that i rarely curse for the past 2 weeks during my work since started thoracic surgery rotation! It's so good to be back to my own nest. I guess it's just the patient population that i am working with. Much less chronic problem or at least when they come in with a surgical problem, i see them at a different light. Not going to comment on that further! ;)

There's so much more to improve and my attending surgeons are perfectionist that are hard to impress as much as i am trying to work harder. That's the challenge that keeps me going i guess.

I am currently getting into the habit of drinking coffee and ginseng and voila!!! I don't feel tired with the long hours! I do recommend you to try it. Chor chor.....try it, coffee with ginseng slices or powder, you might not feel eyelids heaviness while at work! (^ ^)
